Full Council Meetings

The Council year runs from the Annual meeting in May until the Annual meeting the following May. Meetings are normally held on the last Tuesday of each month and there must be at least 6 Councillors present making the meeting quorate and able to take place.

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings, these are usually held at the Council Offices, 18 Kings Arms Street, North Walsham NR28 0HL. There is a specific slot available for ‘public participation’, allowing individuals to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes each, the total time allowed for this slot is no more than 15 minutes.

Minutes of the Council meetings are not supposed to be a full account of everything that was discussed or said at a meeting, but simply an accurate record of all resolutions and decisions made by the Council at the meeting in question.

Please note there are no meetings during August when the Council are in recess.
