Matt Smith was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list and received this from Prince William on Tuesday.
Matt is well known in town for his ongoing tireless efforts to upgrade play equipment in our parks but was also recognised for his efforts in helping to provide disabled adults and children or those with special educational needs with play equipment, and running projects to boost skills and confidence.
