North Walsham Heritage Group
We are a small group of local volunteers who are working to preserve the heritage of North Walsham and the surrounding area, and to open a Heritage Centre to present the town’s history, including archive materials, documents and objects, to residents and visitors, young and old. Our search for suitable premises and the funding needed is proving long-winded and so we greatly appreciate the kind offer of space in St Nicholas church by the Rev.Paul Cubitt, which has allowed us to present a small exhibition of the town’s history. It is open every day except during services. Please do visit this and of course we’d love your feedback on it too..
An important part of our project is to capture memories of the town and if you have tales of the town in days long past, then we’d love to hear them.
We would welcome more volunteers to help the group develop and of course we’d love to hear of any memories or artefacts you may have that will help us develop a really interesting Heritage Centre for our town You can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org Please visit our growing website http://www.northwalshamheritage.org.uk/
